CHAPMANSWELL CARAVAN PARK

Chapmanswell is a small hamlet in a very rural part of the countryside on the Devon/Cornwall border close to the River Tamar. We are only 6 miles off the A30 at Launceston, which is easily reached from the M5 at Exeter.  The entrance to the park is 300 yards off the A388 and access is good all the way; you will not find any tricky narrow lanes at the end of your journey.

We are a small friendly, family run park and we think that our park is the ideal place to make your base to travel around the West Country.  Everywhere in Devon and Cornwall is within easy reach from the park.

The beautiful seaside resort of Bude is 14 miles away and has two golden sand beaches and plenty of places to eat or do your souvenir shopping.  Approximately two miles along the coast from Bude is the resort of Widemouth Bay which is known world wide for its surf.  We are also centrally located between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, ideal for scenic walks and wildlife photography.

There are also many attractions for all ages locally.  The town of Launceston (which is known as the gateway to Cornwall) is 6 miles away and has all the shops you would expect to find in a small market town including a 24 hour supermarket.
